It’s Official Film Chart time, and this week sees Sinnershold firm at Number 1 for a second consecutive week, continuing its strong post-awards momentum. The Oscar-winning drama follows twin brothers returning to their Mississippi hometown in search of a fresh start, only to discover an even greater evil waiting to welcome them back — a haunting story of guilt, redemption and the past that refuses to stay buried.
Climbing one place to Number 2, One Battle After Another continues its impressive rise. The sweeping action epic is clearly striking a chord with audiences thanks to its large-scale spectacle, intense conflict and emotionally driven storytelling.
Meanwhile, Wicked – For Good slips one place to Number 3 after previously spending four non-consecutive weeks at the top. The spectacular musical finale to Elphaba and Glinda’s journey remains a firm favourite, buoyed by its powerful performances and unforgettable songs.
One of the week’s biggest movers, Anaconda (2025), slithers up 17 places to Number 4. The creature-feature reboot continues to thrill viewers with its jungle-set suspense, modern visual effects and high-stakes encounters with the deadly giant serpent.
Superhero favourite Spider-Man – No Way Home rises to Number 5, climbing one place as audiences continue to revisit the multiverse-spanning adventure packed with nostalgic returns and high-impact action.

Falling slightly to Number 6, Dune (2021) remains a strong presence in the Top 10. Denis Villeneuve’s visually stunning adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi classic continues to captivate viewers with its epic scale, immersive world-building and acclaimed score.
Dropping two places to Number 7, Shelter still maintains its chart momentum. The tense drama continues to resonate thanks to its emotionally charged exploration of survival, trust and resilience under pressure.

This week’s highest new entry arrives at Number 8 with Send Help. The survival thriller has quickly made an impression with its gripping premise and mounting tension, following desperate attempts to endure against overwhelming odds.
Re-entering the Top 10 at Number 9, Spider-Man – Homecoming swings back up the chart. Tom Holland’s first solo outing as the web-slinger remains a fan favourite, balancing coming-of-age humour with high-energy superhero action.
Rounding out the countdown, The Super Mario Bros. Movie holds at Number 10, continuing its enduring appeal with colourful animation, fast-paced adventure and a nostalgic trip through Nintendo’s iconic world.
