From August 10 to 12, 2026, the Mish Mash Festival will be back at the Arab-Norman Castle of Milazzo in Sicily. It will feature three days of live music, DJ sets, and visual performances at one of Italy’s most beautiful festival sites.
For its tenth anniversary, the festival focuses more on contemporary electronic music by putting Yin Yin, Turbolenta, and Sam Ruffillo at the centre of the event. The Dutch band Yin Yin will bring their lively mix of psychedelic funk, global rhythms, and analogue electronic sounds. Their style moves between the energy of a live band and the movement of a dance floor.
Moroccan-Algerian artist Turbolenta brings a harder club perspective, mixing North African rhythmic influences but transforming them with an intense electronic sound. Rounding out the electronic lineup is Sam Ruffillo, who has previously worked for the Berlin label Toy Tonics, and brings a warm, polished approach that combines house, disco and melodic club textures.
The wider line-up extends the sound of the festival beyond the club space. Ditonellapiaga, who just released Miss Italia and recently appeared at Sanremo 2026, is joined in the lineup by Faccianuvola, Bouganville, Nico Arezzo, Le Feste Antonacci, Amore Audio and Pufuleti. Together they incorporate elements of songwriting, alternative pop and experimental performance into the wider identity of the festival. Mish Mash presents a DJ programme with sets by Freja, Lodomil & MTM and Erika De Gaetano, while emerging artists Claudio Covato, Moyre and Piazza Trento are winners of the Figli delle Stelle contest.
This year’s edition continues the festival’s immersive creative direction, inspired by Greek mythology andtravel. The castle will be a two-venue venue, with DJ sets and audiovisual shows in the ex-monastery and live shows on the main stage in the Duomo square. Site-specific visuals and installations will also be employed to help craft the mood within the historic venue.
The 2026 edition of the Mish Mash Festival, a mix of electronic music, live performance, visual art and ancient architecture, is set to be a milestone anniversary for the Sicilian event.
