HEMEL Drops New Afro-House Cut Matha – Electric Mode

HEMEL returns with “Matha”, the new single now available on all digital platforms. A production that blends Afro House rhythms, immersive electronic textures and emotional intensity, further defining the unmistakable sound identity of the Italian DJ and producer.

With “Matha”, HEMEL delivers a powerful and cinematic sonic experience built around percussive grooves, hypnotic progressions and refined melodic tension, designed both for the dancefloor and for deeper, atmospheric listening. The track represents another important step in the artist’s evolving musical journey, combining elegance, energy and raw club impact into a contemporary Afro-tech vision.

The release is already gaining strong momentum within the electronic music scene, achieving remarkable results on Beatport, one of the world’s leading platforms for electronic music. “Matha” is currently ranked #36 in the Beatport Afro House Top 100 and #10 in the Afro House Hype Top 100 chart, highlighting the growing international attention surrounding HEMEL’s sound and artistic direction.

An Italian DJ and producer with a forward-thinking artistic vision, HEMEL is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging names in the new wave of Afro House and melodic electronic music. Known for his explosive DJ sets and distinctive style, he has brought his sound to some of the most iconic nightlife destinations including Ibiza, Mykonos, Malta and Porto, alongside major clubs across Italy.

Throughout his artistic journey, HEMEL has gained support and recognition from internationally respected artists such as Jamie Jones, Themba, HoneyLuv and other influential names from the Afro-tech scene. His work and artistic vision have also been featured by leading media outlets including DJ Mag and Corriere della Sera.

With a steadily growing presence across clubs and festivals, “Matha” further confirms HEMEL’s international direction: a sophisticated and impactful sound deeply connected to the evolution of contemporary club culture.
