Latanya Alberto – Window To The Soul (Single)

Amsterdam based artist Latanya Alberto returns with ‘Window To The Soul’, a warm and intimate new single following March’s reflective release ‘Humble’. Produced by Onome Edgeworth of KOKOROKO, the track offers a tender blend of live percussion, subtle trumpet lines and afrobeat inspired rhythms that perfectly frame Latanya’s soulful songwriting.

Taken from her forthcoming debut album SEEN, out 5th June, ‘Window To The Soul’ explores the intimacy of being fully understood beyond romance. “Being truly seen for who you are inside is a form of intimacy far beyond romance,” Latanya explains. “It shows up like not having to explain, crying without shame or true consideration.”

Raised in Amsterdam with roots in Surinam and Curaçao, Latanya’s artistry blends music, poetry and visual storytelling while touching on themes of emotional safety, empowerment and love. Since the release of her 2022 EP Home, she’s gained international recognition through platforms like COLORS and performances at major festivals including Eurosonic and North Sea Jazz.

With SEEN, Latanya continues to carve out a thoughtful space within contemporary jazz, soul and r&b, creating music that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
