Hear Employed To Serve get extra vicious on new single Dead Reckoning

Employed To Serve have shared their first new music of 2026 in the form of scorching new single Dead Reckoning.

Their new single is their first song to be released following their 5K-rated album Fallen Star last year and finds the band releasing music for the first time on guitarist-vocalist Sammy Urwin and lead vocalist Justine Jones’ own label Church Road. The Woking metalers are tapping into their darker side on a track that celebrates being guided by gut instinct and finding your own path against the odds – and it absolutely rips.

“When the track was being written, it was one of those situations where it exploded into existence, rather than having been carefully crafted,” notes Sammy while Justine adds: “Dead Reckoning definitely taps more into our darker side and serves as a conduit to blow off steam. We hope the listeners get the same release from the track that we do.”
