It features smooth bass lines and crisp, slow percussion that caresses the cinematic strings, still leaving you weak at the knees. In places, it even sounds like the kind of track that could soundtrack a spy thriller. It’s elegant, it’s mesmerising, and I was sold well before the halfway point.
There is no denying, once again, that the vocals are the main attraction here. Even though the track is less than four minutes long, by the time you finish it, you’ll feel like you’ve made a new best friend—an artist to truly get stuck into. Although, sadly, there is only one other track available on Spotify, do your best to follow Persephone Darke on all their socials to ensure you don’t miss a single release from this stunning artist, who sounds like they’re destined for big things.
