Back with her first single since 2024 is Toronto, Canada singer-songwriter Tara Van. She has delivered a stunning blend of neo-soul and dreamy-pop tones on this new single. The track “Miles” starts off with a gorgeous lick of vocals and acoustic guitar before steadily building up to a delightful verse where you can hear cinematic synth tones washing over the track, mixed in with some ethereal backing vocals.
…A triumphant, soul-stirring comeback blending ethereal vocals with cinematic, dreamy-pop warmth.
Written in collaboration with Mark Calderone, this new track is quite the return for an artist who released her debut album in 2023 and since then has gone on to get tens of thousands of plays across her tracks.
With this grand return, I can easily see her doing as well as she’s ever done, if not better. Be sure to keep this track playing and then delve into her previous tracks as soon as you’re done. Her tender vocal tones are sure to win you over.
