There are only 50 tickets left for Americana 25 – join us in Liverpool in November!

If you’ve been mulling it over for a while, then mull no more! We are now down to our last 50 odd tickets for Americana 25, our celebration of 25 years of Americana UK, which comes to two stages across Liverpool’s Rough Trade venue and Quaker Meeting House later this year on Saturday, November 28th.

Headlining the event will be an exclusive UK performance from Chuck Prophet and the Echo Strings, featuring a four-piece string quartet, so you can hear Chuck’s songs like you have never heard them before. Also on the bill are legendary singer, musician and songwriter Steve Wynnof The Dream Syndicate, Newcastle-based bluegrass band The Often Herd and Scotland’s Dean Owens, who recently recorded a much-praised album with Calexico. There’s music too from Utah’s Drew Danburry, who makes his way over to the UK for the first time in over a decade, plus some of the best homegrown americana from classic names we have featured here on AUK over the years, including Danny George Wilson, Peter Bruntnell, Our Man in the Field, Smalltown Jones, Jason McNiff, Elaine Palmer, My Girl the River and Ella Spencer, and music of course from Liverpool’s own Barry Jones.

Tickets start at £39.95 inclusive of booking fees, and there’s a solidarity ticket of £49.95 including booking fees for those who can afford it, which allows us to further support our chosen charities, the American Civil Liberties Union and Medical Aid for Palestinians – the solidarity ticket also includes a free festival programme. Either way, with the event running from 1pm-11pm, we hope you’ll agree it’s great value for a whole day’s entertainment. Tickets are on sale from this link.

We really hope you can join us there, wherever you are in the country or the wider world, and of course you also get to sample the delights of one of the best cities in the UK, and we will fight you 9 rounds to the death on that one (included in the price of your ticket).
