Gerhard Mair Releases Cinematic New Single Empire of Eternity – Electric Mode

Austrian music producer Gerhard Mair has released his latest single Empire of Eternity, a powerful fusion of pop, EDM, trance and techno that transports listeners into a dark, futuristic sci-fi universe.

Empire of Eternity serves as a musical extension of Mair’s science fiction bookEmpire of Eternity, part of theThorn Empire Saga. The track blends epic melodies, driving electronic sounds and a mysterious, larger-than-life atmosphere, evoking a journey through space, time and destiny. Inspired by themes of artificial empires, lost civilisations and humanity’s quest for immortality, the production delivers dramatic energy and emotional depth from Mair’s own studio in Austria.

The accompanying music video deepens the experience, offering a striking visual introduction to the world ofEmpire of Eternityand the widerThorn Empire Saga. It portrays a dark futuristic setting defined by power, advanced technology and the pursuit of eternal life, seamlessly linking the music to the story that inspired it.

Gerhard Mair is an Austrian music producer, composer and singer-songwriter known for cinematic electronic music that draws from EDM, trance, dance-pop and sci-fi soundtracks. Based in his personal studio in Austria, he creates releases independently, merging melodic songwriting with robust electronic production and immersive visual concepts. His work frequently explores emotional melodies, energetic beats and futuristic storytelling, often tied to broader creative worlds including science fiction narratives.

Mair has built an international following through a growing catalogue of singles, EPs and albums, such as Tomorrow, Summer Hit, Hyper Energy and Our Christmas. His music videos have helped him amass more than 100,000 YouTube subscribers and earn the YouTube Silver Creator Award. One earlier video for Tomorrow was praised for elevating the track into a fully realised sci-fi spectacle.

Empire of Eternity is out now and available to stream and purchase here, with the accompanying book available here.
