Sonic Soul Orchestra and Daniel Thomas breathe fresh life into their summer favourite ‘Love Theory’ with a heavyweight remix package courtesy of Groove Assassin and Matt Gillespie.
Already a fixture across clubs and festivals, the track heads into autumn with two distinctly different UK reworks. Groove Assassin leans into the record’s soulful foundations, bringing funky grooves, dazzling keys and plenty of warmth, while Matt Gillespie takes things underground with a bouncing UK Garage twist, pairing swinging percussion with deep, warm stabs built for late night dancefloors.
The release continues the momentum behind Sonic Soul Orchestra, the project of DJ and producer JP Firmin, who returned to his house music roots during the pandemic following years touring with major pop and rap artists. It also marks another strong outing for his People Watching label, launched in spring 2026 with a focus on combining the warmth, musicality and inclusive spirit of classic house with contemporary club sounds.
