The Moshville Times – 100 Demons return with first new album in two decades, Embrace the Black Light

After a twenty-year wait, Connecticut hardcore legends 100 Demons have officially announced their third studio album, Embrace the Black Light. Set for release on 5th June 2026 via Closed Casket Activities, the record marks a significant new chapter for a band that has remained one of the genre’s most uncompromising forces for over 25 years.

The album was crafted throughout 2025 at Silver Bullet Studios with producers Greg Thomas and Chris Teti, and features the return of Sean Martin to the line-up. To celebrate the announcement, the band has unleashed the pummeling first single, “Meat for the Beast”. Vocalist Pete Morcey describes the track as a blend of 80s thrash metal and heavy pounding hardcore, formulated to capture the signature 100 Demons sound.

Mastered by Will Putney, Embrace the Black Light also features guest appearances from Colin and Taylor Young of Twitching Tongues and God’s Hate. “Writing and recording ‘Embrace the Black Light’ was an experience like no other,” Morcey comments. “With the guidance of Justin from Closed Casket Activities, we know they brought out the best of us on every level.”

The track listing for Embrace the Black Light is:

    1. The Nightmare
    2. Made for Nothing
    3. Through Seven Eternities
    4. Meat for the Beast
    5. Nail it Shut
    6. Cold Wind of the Crossroads
    7. Häxan Hammer
    8. Night Parade of 100 Demons
    9. Foul
    10. Werewolves at the Wall
    11. Return to Zero
    12. Spiritual Obliteration
