The Moshville Times – As Everything Unfolds and Tropic Gold lead first wave for Novacaine Festival 2026

The crew behind Novacaine Festival have just pulled the curtain back on the first wave of bands for their 2026 edition, and it looks like they’re well on their way to topping their successful debut. The festival is set to take over The Corporation in Sheffield on Saturday, 28th November 2026, and if the initial names are anything to go by, it’s going to be a proper belter for alternative fans.

Headlining the day are post-hardcore heavyweights As Everything Unfolds. The band have been on a bit of a tear lately following the release of their third album, Did You Ask To Be Set Free, earlier this year. We’ve been keeping a close eye on them since catching them supporting Electric Callboy in Glasgow – you can check out our review of that show here. They’ve also got a spot at Download Festival lined up, so they’ll be well-primed by the time they hit the stage in Sheffield.

Joining them as sub-headliners are Tropic Gold. The Suffolk-via-Essex lot have been building a massive reputation for their high-energy live shows. We actually saw them just a few weeks ago opening for Archers, and they definitely didn’t disappoint – read our review of that Tuesday night madness here. Rounding out this first announcement are TheCityIsOurs and the Leeds-based Foxhaunt, both of whom have been making some serious waves on the UK circuit lately.

The festival’s organiser, Scott O’Shea, is clearly chuffed with how things are shaping up, noting that 2026 is set to be his biggest production to date. The event returns to The Corporation as the venue celebrates its 25th anniversary, which is a cracking milestone for one of the UK’s most legendary independent spots. Robert Fulton-Hamilton will also be returning as the official compere, so expect plenty of energy between the sets.

Early Bird tickets are currently available for a very reasonable £25. If you’re feeling the pinch, Skiddle are offering payment plans to help spread the cost. More bands are expected to be announced over the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled.
