The Moshville Times – Avatar announce autumn 2026 UK tour dates

Swedish theatrical metal masters Avatar have officially announced a comprehensive UK headline run for late autumn 2026. Dubbed the “Don’t Go In The Forest Tour,” the multi-city stretch follows a massive summer that sees the heavy metal outfit supporting Metallica at London Stadium, as well as conquering major European festival stages and an extensive tour circuit across Australia and New Zealand.

The upcoming headlining campaign supports the band’s freshly released studio album, Don’t Go In The Forest, which sees the group push their heavy, riff-driven foundations into highly progressive, introspective, and explosive territory. Known globally for their cinematic and visually striking stage craft, the band’s core line-up – Johannes Eckerström, Jonas Jarlsby, Tim Öhrström, Henrik Sandelin, and John Alfredsson – will be bringing their signature dark carnival performance across the UK throughout November.

“A Europe in November. A Europe in December. Cold, wet and dark,” notes frontman Johannes Eckerström. “We all know what it’s like, and we know exactly what you’ll need. This time around, we will do everything within our power to make you feel lucky to participate. We live by but one ethos: Better than ever. I really want to see you, and you really don’t want to miss this.”

To round out the touring package, Danish death metal rising stars Neckbreakker have been confirmed as the special guests across all scheduled dates. Presale tickets are currently live via the band’s official channels, with general public ticket sales launching on Tuesday 26th May at 10:00 AM local time.
