First-time vinyl pressings, live recordings and special editions from Florence + The Machine, Sombr, Noah Kahan and Jessie Ware will arrive in independent record shops on Friday, November 27.
Record Store Day Black Friday returns to the UK and Ireland with a release list spanning contemporary pop, archive performances and anniversary editions. The focus is on physical formats and the independent shops where listeners browse, discover and collect them.
Florence + The Machine contribute alternate chamber versions of four tracks from Everybody Scream, while Sombr’s In Another Life EP receives its first vinyl release on silver vinyl. Noah Kahan, Jessie Ware, KATSEYE and Carly Rae Jepsen also feature on the list.
Live recordings include the first retail release of Shawn Mendes’ MTV Unplugged, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s Live at Tower Theatre Philly 1975 and Holly Humberstone’s Live from Cruel World, featuring two performances from her 2026 BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session.
Elsewhere, 2Pac’s Pac’s Life receives a 20th-anniversary release, and Playboi Carti’s MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT comes to vinyl for the first time. The line-up also includes The Chemical Brothers, Rose Gray, The Coral, Momoko Gill and Knats.
Seasonal editions include Cher’s Christmas EP and the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s A Charlie Brown Christmas, packaged in a limited-edition advent calendar gatefold sleeve.
Brandan Nolan, owner of Sticky Black Tarmac, emphasises the shop experience:
Black Friday can feel like it’s become all about buying more for the sake of it, so Record Store Day Black Friday is a nice antidote to that. It’s about going into your local shop, having a proper browse and coming away with a record you’ll actually value.
Releases will be available exclusively from participating UK and Irish independent record shops from 8 am on Friday, November 27. Explore the full release list and find your nearest participating shop.
