DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Bandoman & BackBone – Unfinished EP: Seeking Peace

Bandoman BackBone Unfinished EP: Seeking Peace EP streamIn this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artists Bandoman and BackBone and their brand new EP titled Unfinished EP: Seeking Peace.

Cheltenham-based duo Bandoman & BackBone have officially released their highly anticipated collaborative project, Unfinished EP: Seeking Peace, out now on all major streaming platforms. Dropped on 20th March 2026, the four-track Hip Hop EP delivers a bold and refreshing blend of Arabic and English influences, pairing modern rap energy with a meaningful message that feels more relevant than ever.

At its core, Unfinished EP: Seeking Peace is more than just music, it’s a statement. Inspired by the real-life friendship between a Muslim immigrant and a Christian English individual, the project stands as a testament to what can happen when people choose understanding over division. Instead of feeding into the narratives of separation that dominate headlines, Bandoman & BackBone shine a light on the everyday beauty that comes from genuine human connection.

Through vibrant beats and honest storytelling, the EP captures real moments of friendship, growth, and shared experiences. It’s a project rooted in the idea that common ground isn’t something rare; it’s something we can build, even through the simplest interactions.

Musically, the EP delivers a dynamic fusion that mirrors the duo’s backgrounds. BackBone, born and raised in Cheltenham, brings a signature sound that blends UK Hip Hop and US trap influences, balancing light-hearted energy with socially aware lyricism. Alongside him is Bandoman, the Amsterdam-born artist of Moroccan descent, whose global perspective is shaped by migration, identity, and lived experience. Fluent in seven languages, Bandoman adds a powerful cultural depth that gives the EP its distinct voice.

Their chemistry is undeniable, and it’s no surprise this collaboration has been building momentum for years. With a friendship spanning over a decade, the duo’s creative partnership feels natural, authentic, and fully locked-in. What began as a spontaneous freestyle session for Bandoman quickly gained viral traction, pulling in hundreds of thousands of streams and views, and setting the stage for this official joint release.

The result is an uplifting project that balances feel-good replay value with a deeper purpose. Unfinished EP: Seeking Peace is both celebratory and reflective; offering listeners a soundtrack for resilience, unity, and hope.

With influences ranging from Boef and Josylvio to Eminem and Aitch, Bandoman & BackBone carve out a sound that feels global, current, and emotionally grounded. It’s a release that doesn’t just entertain, it encourages listeners to look beyond stereotypes and embrace the possibility of coexistence.

In a world that often highlights what separates us, Bandoman & BackBone remind us that peace starts with connection and sometimes, that connection begins with a beat, a verse, and a shared moment.
