DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Aran Sidhu feat. Sam.u.el & Maniscooler – Tú

Aran Sidhu Sam.u.el Maniscooler TúIn this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Aran Sidhu and his brand new single titled “Tú” featuring Sam.u.el & Maniscooler.

Rising artist Aran Sidhu has released his new single “Tú”, a smooth and romantic three-way collaboration featuring Sam.u.el and Maniscooler. Blending laid-back R&B, warm guitar melodies and a subtle Spanish influence, the track offers a fresh and effortlessly catchy take on the modern love song.

“Tú” started with a clear vision from Aran. He already knew the kind of lyrics he wanted to sing and exactly who he wanted the song to speak to. Those lyrics were sent across before a single note of music had been created, but even at that early stage, there was an immediate spark that suggested something special was taking shape.

That initial idea has developed into an easygoing record aimed primarily at women who create content on social media. At the centre of the track is a short, memorable hook that immediately invites listeners to sing along, while Aran’s soothing delivery keeps the song relaxed and accessible. The production follows that same approach, built around a laid-back R&B beat that feels equally suited to a late-night drive, a relaxed afternoon or a headphone listen.

One of the track’s defining features is its guitar work. Running throughout the record, the guitars introduce a warm Spanish flavour that gives “Tú” its own identity and separates it from more conventional contemporary R&B releases. The combination of the gentle instrumentation, romantic lyrics and relaxed groove creates an inviting atmosphere without overcomplicating the formula.

The release also continues the creative relationship between Aran, Sam.u.el and Maniscooler. “Tú” follows Aran’s recent single “Olas”, which was also created alongside the two collaborators. Together, the tracks highlight Aran’s willingness to experiment with different sounds while continuing to develop his own musical identity.

Music has been part of Aran’s life from an early age. At 13, he began learning the dhol, the traditional Punjabi drum, under world-renowned producer Aman Hayer. What began as an introduction to rhythm and Punjabi culture eventually developed into a much broader passion for music and performance.

Aran later turned his attention towards singing, spending more than 14 years learning and refining his voice under Tru Skool, one of the most in-demand producers in Punjabi music. While he is comfortable moving between different styles and refuses to be confined to one genre, bhangra remains closest to his heart. His music draws on the energy, culture and emotion of Punjabi music while introducing a contemporary edge.

A major career highlight came in September 2023, when Tru Skool invited Aran to perform live at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall as part of an event featuring Panjabi MC. It marked Aran’s first performance in front of a crowd of 2,000 people and his first time performing on stage with a live band. He performed two songs alongside the Tru Skool Live experience band, an important milestone in his development as a performer.

Influenced by artists including Jazzy B, Diljit Dosanjh and Balwinder Safri, Aran continues to build on his Punjabi musical roots while exploring new territory.

With “Tú”, Aran Sidhu delivers a warm, catchy and effortlessly smooth collaboration that showcases another side of his evolving sound. Featuring Sam.u.el and Maniscooler, the track brings together R&B grooves, Spanish-inspired guitars and Aran’s distinctive vocal approach for a romantic release that is easy to put on repeat.
