Sean Griffin reveals the vibrant new song, Thats All She Wrote

Sean Griffin returns with his new single “That’s All She Wrote”. Sitting at just a little over three minutes long, the song opens with an incredibly bouncy, vibrant, summer-ready bassline that reminds me of the very best the Beach Boys have to offer.

… a sun-soaked, genre-blending summer anthem that quietly hints at his elite-level pop songwriting.

In fact, when I first played this, I had to do a double-take to see who the artist was, as it is that good. It is, quite literally, the top end of this genre, as far as I am concerned. The vocals are a little moodier compared with the standard surf-driven, airy style, but that helps offset the track and allows it to appeal to a much broader audience. I personally liked the church organ-esque synth sound in the track, and the twinkling piano elements really helped draw me in as a new listener.

Based out of New York, USA, Sean Griffin is an artist with a strong track record of creating fantastic music. With this song acting as the lead single on his new album, you have to listen to the full LP as soon as you are done here. It is a fantastic example of everything Sean is about, with hints of Americana, blues, and surf pop, all coming together into a real summer anthem of an album.
