DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Terry Ennison – Thy Will Be Done

Terry Ennison Thy Will Be Done EP streamIn this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Terry Ennison and his brand new EP titled Thy Will Be Done.

Ghanaian recording artist, songwriter, and creative visionary Terry Ennison steps into a new chapter with the release of his four-track EP Thy Will Be Done, an ambitious project that introduces listeners to SainT, a new creative persona through which Ennison explores faith, temptation, purpose, ego, mortality, and the tension between the sacred and the human.

Based in Rochester, NY, Ennison has built an artistic identity around spirituality, social commentary, and cultural storytelling. Across his various personas, including SainT, Teezy, and Ennison T, he continues to examine different sides of ambition, identity, belief, and modern life. With Thy Will Be Done, those themes come together in a concise but conceptually rich body of work.

The EP opens with “Sainted,” immediately establishing the spiritual and introspective foundation of the project. From there, “The Garden Freestyle” digs deeper into the project’s biblical imagery and its exploration of temptation and human nature. “Countin’ ‘Em” shifts the energy while continuing to examine ambition, ego, and the pursuit of purpose, before the project arrives at “Day Seven.”

Already released as a single and previously covered by New Fire Magazine and BlazeMuse, “Day Seven” serves as a particularly meaningful centerpiece. Ennison takes the biblical imagery surrounding the seventh day, traditionally associated with rest, and transforms it into a metaphor for his own artistic resurrection. Rather than surrendering when confronted by obstacles, the song captures the decision to keep moving, keep creating, and push through whatever stands in the way.

That idea gives Thy Will Be Done an underlying sense of perseverance. This is not simply a project about spirituality in the traditional sense. It is about the struggle between belief and doubt, ambition and humility, setbacks and renewal. Through SainT, Ennison creates a space where those contradictions can exist together.

Musically and conceptually, the EP reflects an artist interested in more than simply making songs. Ennison approaches his work as a form of storytelling, using cinematic lyricism and bold concepts to explore questions that remain deeply human. Thy Will Be Done therefore feels like both an introduction and a statement of intent for SainT, presenting a creative persona built to confront the questions surrounding purpose, identity, mortality, and faith.

With four tracks and a clear conceptual thread connecting them, Thy Will Be Done offers a focused glimpse into Terry Ennison’s evolving artistic world. For listeners discovering SainT for the first time, the EP marks the beginning of a compelling new chapter, one centered on transformation, perseverance, and the refusal to stop pushing forward.
