Leah Cleaver – LIKE, YEH (Single)

East London artist Leah Cleaver is back with ‘LIKE, YEH’, a sleek, club ready track that leans into temptation, tension, and the kind of connection you know you should walk away from but never quite can. Built around a rolling bassline and hazy harmonies, the single balances intimacy with pure dancefloor energy, showcasing Leah’s instinct for sharp alternative pop songwriting.

Following the release of her 2025 debut EP Pushing Up Flowers, Leah continues to carve out a sound entirely her own: bass heavy, unpredictable, and emotionally charged. Drawing influence from artists as varied as Arctic Monkeys, Mary J. Blige and Bing Crosby, she blends genres with ease while keeping her songwriting grounded in raw honesty and playful self awareness.

Describing the track as “a siren call” to anyone caught in a cycle they can’t resist, Leah captures the chaos of obsession with a wink rather than a wound. It’s confident, magnetic, and another reminder that she’s quickly becoming one of the UK alternative pop scene’s most exciting new voices.

Since stepping away from neo soul group ZEBEDE to pursue a solo career, Leah has steadily built momentum, earning support from titles including NME, CLASH and Wonderland. She’s also recently collaborated with Kae Tempest and Fraser T. Smith on ‘Freedom! ’25’, further cementing her reputation as a versatile and fearless creative.

With ‘LIKE, YEH’, Leah Cleaver steps confidently into her next chapter, one filled with left turns, late nights, and hooks that linger long after the music stops.
