The release of the single “moment” marks the last track before the whole of Ray Lozano’s new EP #4a79b1 is released on Nov 13.

Between a rock and a hard place, “moment” grasps for the feeling of being caught up in ambiguity. Ray’s sonic exploration grapples with the pain we often find when we love deeply until it hurts. Between strings, echoing retro-style keys & guitar reminiscent of the 80’s, lyrically the search for comfort in a relationship becomes its own kind of addiction.

Staying true to her eclectic Alt R&B and futuristic Soul sound, this song was produced and recorded with Ray’s long-term musical partner Samon Kawamura. Artwork by Parissa Charghi, photos and visualizer by Urs Mader.
